Terms of Use

Effective date: 28 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the Opingo app (the "app") made by Nikkhil Deshmukkh ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them.

1. The app

Opingo helps you scan visiting cards and save the details to your phone, and optionally send follow-ups from accounts you connect. It is provided as it is, to help you in your work.

2. Your account

Opingo has no account of its own. If you connect Google or Microsoft, you do so with their sign-in, and their terms also apply.

3. Using the app responsibly

  • Use Opingo only for business cards and contacts you have a reasonable reason to hold.
  • Send messages only to people who would reasonably expect them, and follow the anti-spam and data-protection laws that apply to you.
  • Do not use Opingo to harass anyone, to send unwanted bulk messages, or to break the rules of Google, Microsoft, WhatsApp, Zapier or any other service you connect.

4. Opingo Pro subscription

  • Opingo Pro is a yearly subscription at the price shown in the app.
  • Payment is taken by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Their terms apply to the payment.
  • The subscription renews automatically each year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period, in your Google Play or App Store account settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple, according to their rules.
  • The Pro features stop when the subscription ends.

5. Apple's standard terms (iPhone)

For the iPhone app, Apple's standard end-user licence agreement also applies: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the card details, emails and sheets you create. We do not claim any rights over them, and we do not see them.

7. Warranty and liability

Opingo is provided as it is. Card reading depends on the card, the light and the photo, so please check every detail before you save. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by the app, the services you connect, or details that were read wrongly. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law that cannot be limited.

8. Changes

We may change these terms and the app. If the change matters to you, we will tell you in the app or on this website before it takes effect.

9. Ending the app

You can stop using Opingo at any time. You can delete your data as described on the Delete your data page.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Pune have jurisdiction.
