Delete your data

Short answer: Opingo keeps almost everything on your phone. You can delete it yourself in a few taps. We keep no card data on our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete, but you can contact us if you want help.

1

Step 1: Remove everything on your phone

  1. Open Opingo, then Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete all my data.
  3. Confirm. This removes your settings, your email passwords, your Microsoft sign-in and the list of cards on your phone.
2

Step 2: Uninstall the app (optional)

Uninstalling also removes the app's settings. On iPhone, the Keychain can keep passwords after uninstalling, so install and open Opingo once more and it will clear them for you, or use Step 1 first.

3

Step 3: Remove Opingo's access to your Google account

  • Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, find Opingo, and remove it.
  • Or use Settings → Google account → Disconnect Google account before you uninstall.
4

Step 4: Remove Opingo's access to your Microsoft account (if you added one)

  • Personal accounts: account.live.com/consent/Manage
  • Work accounts: myapps.microsoft.com
5

Step 5: Delete the files Opingo made in your Google Drive (optional)

Opingo's spreadsheet ("Scanned Visiting Cards") and folder ("Opingo card photos") stay in your Drive. Open Google Drive and delete them if you no longer want them.

6

Step 6: Cancel Opingo Pro (if you bought it)

Cancel in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
